Secunda To Pretoria

Secunda to Pretoria. Ok so it's not like we've gone very far today but it's the first day and it was a great ride. We were in such a hurry at home that we totally forgot our earplugs. You know that miserable feeling on your first day at school; well that's how we felt. The wind was terrible along the way but still it was a great ride. The only thing that is always a pain in this part of town is the traffic; you won't believe how heavy it is. I truly don't know what these people do for a living cause to sit in traffic at 2pm? It seems like they get paid to sit in traffic because some of them look like they enjoy it very much.

Baby 09 rode beautifully and gave us 16.5 km/l, but I have to add we could not go faster than 140km/h due to the side wind. Other than that it rode like a dream all the way. Our riding gear is also working great. The only downside with the clothes is that they're very hot and when you sit in traffic, you start to feel it.

Tomorrow will be a test, Janeke and Andre got their new sport bags for their bike and they look really great. I will get them to write a small report every day about how things went with them.
