Mosselbay To Knysna
Cobus:
Well, well, who would have thought that the Cape also has a sun in the sky! This morning we woke up and the sun was up with no clouds. Unfortunately, still not perfect with the wind blowing yet again, cold as winter. Luckily it was a short day on the bike and the roads were ok. For the next three days we will be at my parents' place and will leave on Monday for East London. I will blog on Monday night again. Cheers, have a great weekend.
Janeke:
Today the sun was shining and that was great. The ocean was beautiful this morning and we saw some dolphins and, the day before, some gentle giants. The walk on the beach was refreshing though cold. The Cape is pretty but the only thing I will remember is the cold weather and yesterday's wet pants! Until Monday, have a great weekend.
Christa:
We woke up this morning with the sound of waves breaking on the shore; the sun was shining, one perfect day. We went for a nice long walk on the beach, my feet were freezing but it was still nice just to be barefoot with the cold sand between my toes. We only had a short ride to Knysna today. The wind was a bit on the cold side and I was glad that we only had to bear it for a short while. We are staying with my in-laws for the weekend; it will be good to eat some homemade food for a change. I am also looking forward to a bike-free weekend, just to relax and chill with a glass of wine next to a braai before our second-longest ride.
Andre:
We are in Knysna at Cobus' parents. They are very nice folks and stay on a farm. They have a very big rooster "n HOENDER HAAN wat jou been sal afskop". Like you have read, we will be here for the weekend and we will enjoy the good food and cakes. Once again I had a nice ride on the bike, with Janeke whistling some good tunes.
