After many Google searches, and reading about proofreading and getting my website up to standard with the correct grammar and spelling, I come across Tiffany Markman. At first I thought, 'This is going to cost me a lot of money!' Well, after a few emails and a phone call we worked out a great plan for me, and Tiffany and her team started working on the first 10 pages of copy editing.

After a week, the pages were done - with jaw-dropping results. I was very grateful to Tiffany have them on my side to assist, with that and moving forward. I believe that if you present something to the world it should be correct and professional, and Tiffany and her team will give you 110%, in terms of making sure your copy is correct and ensuring that you as a client are satisfied.

The one thing that is particularly great is when people start contacting you and complimenting you on the words on your website. Thanks Tiffany - and Inonge, your excellent colleague - for the great work; it was great working with you. But this is not the end - we are still going to write lots more together.

I was looking for a company that could produce a plastic PVC card for me. The theme of the card should show touring with Superbikes. Well after numerous failed attempts from my side I came across CardsPlus. They are professional, fast and will make sure you are happy with the card. You will get sample after sample until you are satisfied. My cards arrived today and they look great. The printing is just amazing.

These PVC cards will make your company look professional and stylish.

When you walk into a bike shop and the guy behind the counter asks you if you'd like a cup of coffee you might think that's very strange. But at WOA it's normal, and the service is outstanding. You get personalised service with no interruptions and they will take the time to explain everything you need to know about the gear you are looking for.

I was interested in buying a helmet. Darryl took me through the shop and showed me all the helmets that might interest me.

In the end I got what I was looking for.

Noise Clipper

Noise

This is one subject that will come up ever so often when you are doing long trips on a motorcycle. But most of the time we tend to sweep it under the rug and literally ignore the noise. We normally try and wear our earplugs, the soft ones, but it can be an irritation noise clippers at times and your ears still sing when you take them out. At one stage I tried my very old Variphone and it was then that I decided we should invest in proper ear protection. My Variphone is made from hypoallergenic acrylic and even with this under my helmet, they were comfortable but the problem is they kept falling out because they are so hard.

After one search on the internet I found NOISE CLIPPERS and we made an appointment with Rita for a Friday. To make a very long story short we were running very late and they close at 4p.m. We phoned Rita and explained the situation and suggested to rather reschedule but she had noise clippers no problem waiting for us. Well we got there 16h20 and she was still waiting for us. Rita welcomed us in a very friendly manner and even took the time to explain how the ear protection works.

I would like to say thanks to Rita for great service and that little extra personal touch that is very rare in this world of ours.

By using ear protection you will be more focused on the road and the ride will be so much better, believe me.

V-sil moto:

An anxious phenomenon is developing: in the world of motorcyclists it is becoming more and more known of victims whose hearing loss is due to their favourite sport. Motorcyclists are beginning to realise that their hearing has to be protected. People who ride a motorcycle regularly are running the risk of hearing loss. Official measurements show that the safe limits are being overtaken very quickly.

The sound of the motorcycle isn't the biggest problem, but mostly the rush of the wind near the helmet which causes high noise levels. The noise pressure is +/- 90 dB at 80 km/hour, +/- 94 dB at 100 km/hour, +/- 98 dB at 120 km/hour and by a speed of 140 km/hour it can rise up to 102 dB. The noise level during a ride depends also on the type of the motorcycle and the type of helmet.

For this target group Variphone Benelux offers the V-Sil MOTO. This custom-made hearing protector is made from 50 Shore Silicon material and is appreciated for its composition and wearing comfort under most styles of helmet. This hearing protector is equipped with a selective filter. Variphone Benelux offers a large range of very stable metal 'LASER calibrated ST - filters' which are very efficient.

Our motto: better to prevent that to heal. Hearing loss is a gradual process.

Roaring Wheels

Roaring Wheels - Secunda

When it comes to service, Roaring Wheels is most definitely number one in South Africa, yip I said South Africa. You would say that to make a statement like that the service must be brilliant. Well it is and even better.

Previously we normally drove to JHB or Pretoria to do our bike accessories shopping; at one stage it became a pain to drive that far. One Saturday we drove through town and found Roaring Wheels. When I walked in the shop, all the staff were friendly and professional. At that stage, I was looking for a backpack for our trip to Cape Town. Andre gave me a few options; we decided to go for the Oxford pack. The only problem was that he had to order it; now from experience I know this is going to be problem. Nevertheless, Andre assured me that I would get it on Wednesday. Well on Wednesday, Andre phoned me to let me know that the bag was there and I could collect it.

From that day, I can say with confidence that if you order something at Roaring Wheels you will get it very soon, and believe me I have ordered a few thousand rands' worth of accessories from them.

However, this is not the only thing; it is that individual service that you get. It is not a big commercial shop that just wants to take your money and show you the door... Oh no - you feel welcome there every time.

Now with this great service there is an extra bonus that you get, the prices are right. Believe you me their prices are very competitive and they will search for the best prices for you.

Recently I was looking for a Lowering Kit for Christa's bike, I phoned Honda dealers in the country, and some of them did not even know what I was talking about. Well I phone Roaring Wheels and he ordered it for us that day. He did say it would take four weeks but hey, who cares at least he knew what I was looking for and he can get it.

Andre, Leandra and Rozanne well done and keep on smiling because that is what makes your business work.
